Hey guys, allow me to act like a person whose popularity is far more than mine actually is, and announce my next fanfiction project (I know, big deal, haha).

Star Wars: Knights Of the Old Republic
Heart of Darkness

This is a tentative title as I'm beginning to flesh out the story, but I feel pretty eager to tell everyone about it.

For those of you who don't know, beyond the famed Star Wars movies there is the Expanded Universe: a wealth of novels, video games, and comics that tell the stories of thousands of other people, Jedi and non-Jedi alike, thousands of years before and a few hundred years after the timeline the SW movies took place. Beyond the movies there are a wealth of extra stories featuring characters from the film like Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa and Han Solo.

One of these is the Knights Of the Old Republic (abbreviated KOTOR) series. First a video game, then a video game sequel (called The Sith Lords or KOTOR II), then a comic series. Now KOTOR is used as a general term for the "Old Republic" period approximately 3,960 years before the Battle of Yavin, often used for dating the Star Wars calendar.

HoD is set around four years after the time period of the KOTOR comic series. The Mandalorian Wars have been and gone, leaving a shattered Republic in its wake. Although the Republic were in the end victorious thanks to the Jedi Crusaders, the peace didn't last long. A year after the battle of Malachor V, the Jedi Crusaders with Revan as their leader returned from the Unknown Regions as Sith, beginning a new war on the galaxy.

Now a year after the Jedi Civil War began, Jedi Knights have been mysteriously disappearing across the galaxy. With their resources stretched to the limits, the Jedi Council sends a newly Knighted Jedi to Nar Shaddaa to investigate. However, what he finds on the smuggler's moon threatens to overwhelm the already battered Republic...

I know, I know, it's a lame description. But I can tell you there will definitely be the following things in it::
- Master vs Padawan
- An ancient Sith artifact
- A curious droid
- More than a few aliens
- Plenty of action

You may want to do some background reading for interest, but even if you're not into Star Wars usually I would ask for you to read it. I want to write a great story, not just a great fanfiction. This is one fanfic in which the canon characters are mentioned very little, but if you'd like Jedi Knights, a good action story, and a good plot, then hopefully you'll like this!

Don't worry, I'm not abandoning WD! This is going to be started on right after Warrior's Daughter finished. I have a few fanfiction projects actually that I want to get off my chest before I move onto my originals. So some of the upcoming (possible) projects (after WD and HoD) are::
